Return to Our Lady of America

St. Joseph and Our Lady of America

The visionary of Our Lady of America, the American nun named Sister Mary Ephrem, received visits from St. Joseph as well. She recalled in a letter to her confessor, later Archbishop, Paul F. Leibold of Cincinnati, Ohio. that she heard:

“Thus should be honored whom the King desires to honor.”

Afterwards, Sister drafted the following prayer:

O Glorious St. Joseph, whose Most Pure Heart was so Pleasing to the Father that He Chose you as Virgin Father of His Son, and worthy to be the husband of Mary, watch over and care for us as you did the Holy Ones entrusted to you.

Protect the Church, our Country and our homes. Help us to become like your Holy Family in Nazareth. Help us to become more and more pure of heart and live with God in our hearts.”

– Prayer of Sister Mildred Mary Neuzil – Diary, Our Lady of America

First Wednesday of each month in honor of St. Joseph

St. Joseph to Sister Mary Ephrem in 1958:

Let my children honor my Most Pure Heart in a special manner on the First Wednesday of the month by reciting the Joyful Mysteries of the Rosary in memory of my life with Jesus and Mary and the love I bore them, the sorrow I suffered with them. Let them receive Holy Communion in union with the love with which I received the Savior for the first time and each time I held Him in my arms. Those who honor me in this way will be consoled by my Presence at their death, and I myself will conduct them safely into the Presence of Jesus and Mary.”
