Month of the Holy Name

– Holy Day of Obligation

– Octave Day of the Nativity

V2 – 8.15.99 – And Jesus: “The First Canticle that they Sang (Angels and Saints) to My Mama was the ‘Hail Mary’, because in the ‘Hail Mary’ there are the Most Beautiful Praises, the Greatest Honors; and the Joy which She felt in being made Mother of God is Renewed. Therefore, let us Recite it Together to Honor Her, and when you yourself come to Paradise, I will let you find it as if you had Recited it Together with the Angels for the first time in Heaven.” So, we Recited the first part of the ‘Hail Mary’, Jesus and I Together. O! how Tender and Touching it was to Hail our Most Holy Mama Together with Her Beloved Son! Each Word He said Carried an Immense Light, in which one could comprehend many things about the Most Holy Virgin. But who can say them all? – Especially because of my incapacity. Therefore I let them pass in silence.

Virgin Mary in the Kingdom – Day 23 – “My daughter, Saint Joseph and I felt a shiver of pain, but intrepid and without hesitating, we called the minister and we had Him circumcised with a most painful cut. At the bitter pain, Baby Jesus cried and flung Himself into My Arms, asking for My Help. Saint Joseph and I mixed our Tears with His; we gathered the First Blood shed by Jesus for Love of creatures, and we gave Him the Name of Jesus—Powerful Name, which was to make Heaven and earth tremble, and even hell; a Name which was to be Balm, Defense, Help for every heart.”

Virgin Mary in the Kingdom – Meditation 2 – Now, dearest daughter, in so much Sorrow, the Most Beautiful Joy arises, such as to stop our Tears. As He was circumcised, we gave Him the Most Holy Name of Jesus, wanted by the Angel. In pronouncing this Most Holy Name, the Joy, the Contentment, was such as to sweeten our Sorrow. More so, since in this Name, whoever wanted to, would find Balm for his pains, the Defense in dangers, the Victory in temptations, the Hand so as not to fall into sin, the Medicine for all his evils. This Most Holy Name of Jesus makes hell tremble; the Angels revere It, and It sounds Sweet to the Ear of the Celestial Father. Before this Name, all bow down and adore. Powerful Name, Holy Name, Great Name; whoever invokes It with faith will feel the Marvels, the Miraculous Secret of the Virtue of this Most Holy Name. Now, My daughter, I recommend to you: always pronounce this Name, “Jesus.” When you see that your human will, weak, vacillating, hesitates in doing the Divine, the Name of Jesus will make it Rise Again for you in the Divine Fiat. If you are oppressed, call upon Jesus; if you work, call upon Jesus; if you sleep, call upon Jesus; and when you wake up, may your first word be “Jesus.” Call Him always; it is a Name that contains Seas of Grace, but which He gives to those who call Him and love Him.”

V3 – 1.6.00 – This morning I received Communion, and as I found myself together with Jesus, the Queen Mama also was there, and – oh! marvel – I looked at the Mother and I could see Her Heart Transmuted into Baby Jesus; I looked at the Son and I could see the Mother in the Heart of the Baby. In the meantime, I remembered that today is the Epiphany, and on the example of the Holy Magi, I was to offer something to Baby Jesus, but I saw myself as having nothing to give Him. So, in seeing my misery, the thought came to me of offering my body as Myrrh, with all the sufferings of the twelve years in which I had been in bed, ready to suffer and to remain there as long as He Pleased; as Gold, the pain I feel when He deprives me of His Presence, which is the most painful and sorrowful thing for me; as Incense, my poor prayers, United to those of the Queen Mama, so that they might be more Acceptable to Baby Jesus. So I made the offering, with all the confidence that the Baby would Accept everything.

1/6 – EPIPHANY OF THE LORD – Traditional

– Feast of the Holy Family – Traditional

Matthew 3: 13-17 – “Then Jesus came from Galilee to John, at the Jordan to be baptized by him.  And John was for hindering him and said, “It is I who ought to be baptized by thee, and dost thou come to me?”  But Jesus answered and said to him, “Let it be so now, for so it becomes us to fulfill all justice.”  Then he permitted him.  And when Jesus had been baptized He immediately came up from the water.  And behold, the heavens were opened to Him, and he saw the Spirit of God descending as a dove and coming upon Him.  And behold, a voice from the heavens said, “This is My beloved Son, in whom I AM well pleased.”

V30 – 3.20.32 – “And I Myself, when I came upon earth, during the thirty years of My hidden Life—it can be said that, in appearance, I did no good to anyone, nor did a single one know Me.  I was, yes, in their midst, but unobserved; all the Good unfolded between Me and the Celestial Father, My Celestial Mother and dear Saint Joseph, because they knew He Who I was; everybody else—nothing.  But when I came out of My hiding place, and I openly made Myself Known, saying that I was truly the Promised Messiah, their Redeemer and Savior, even though by making Myself Known I drew upon Myself calumnies, persecutions, contradiction, anger, hatred from the Jews, and My very Passion and Death, with all these evils that rained down upon Me like pouring rain, it came to be that I, by making Myself Known, Affirmed who I was in Reality—the Eternal Word Descended from Heaven in order to Save them.  And this is so True, that as long as I remained in the House of Nazareth, not knowing who I was, no one told Me anything, nor did they slander Me or do Me any harm; as I Revealed Myself, all evils swooped down upon Me.  But this, making Myself Known, was necessary, otherwise I would have departed back for Heaven without accomplishing the Purpose for which I had come upon earth. On the other hand, by making Myself Known, even though I drew so many evils upon Myself, in the midst of this chasm of evils I Formed My Apostles, I Announced the Gospel, I Performed Prodigies, and the Knowledge of Me instigated My enemies to make Me Suffer so many Pains, to the point of giving Me Death on the Cross.  But I obtained My Intent—that many would know Me in the midst of many who did not want to know Me; and the Fulfillment of My Redemption…”

1/22 – Day of Prayer for the Legal Protection of Unborn Children

In a recent statement of Fr. Bucci, he made known that after Luisa’s death, in addition to beginning the spread of devotion to Luisa, and having read all of her Writings, Aunt Rosaria had an earnest devotion to the protection and sanctification of the unborn. To honor Rosaria Bucci in this earnest intention, and to thank her for her forty years of dedication and care of the Servant of God Luisa Piccarreta, with the following Writing of Luisa from Volume 36, we echo this same desire, linked with Luisa in the Holy Divine Will, praying for the Salvation and Sanctification of all unborn babies, past, present and future. May this be for the Glory of God and the Good of all souls, and hasten the Establishment of the Kingdom of the Divine Will on earth as It is in Heaven.

V36 – 4.12.38 – “My Blessed daughter of My Will, how many Wonders My Will can make in the creature, as long as she gives It the First Place and All the Freedom to Operate. My Will takes the will, the word, the act that the creature wants to do, as part of Itself – Covers it with Its Creative Virtue, Pronounces Its Fiat in it, and Forms as many Lives for as many existing creatures. You were asking in My Will for the Baptism of All newborn babies that will come to the light of the day – and then, for Its Life to Reign in them. My Will did not hesitate for one instant; soon It Pronounced Its Fiat and Formed as many Lives from Itself for as many newborn babies coming to the Light – Baptizing them, as you wanted, with Its First Light, and then Giving each one of them Its Life…”

1/23 – Espousals of the Blessed Virgin Mary, 1 B.C. – Historical

Hail, Holy Mother! Giving Birth to Thy Child, Thou didst Bring Forth the King, Who Ruleth the heavens and the earth for ever and ever. [Ps.] My heart hath uttered a good word. I speak my works to the King. Glory be to the Father, and to the Son, and to the Holy Ghost. As it was in the beginning, is now, and ever shall be, world without end. Amen. Hail Mary…

COLLECT – Imbue Thy servants, we beseech Thee, O Lord, with the gift of Heavenly Grace: that having been exhorted to Salvation in the Childbearing of the Blessed Virgin; in celebrating the Solemnity of Her Espousal we may be granted an increase of Peace.  Through our Lord. Amen

COLLECT OF SAINT JOSEPH – We beseech Thee, O Lord, that we may be helped by the Merits of the Spouse of Thy Most Holy Mother, so that what we cannot obtain of ourselves may be given to us through His Intercession. Amen
